I’ve been getting the urge to draw more and it just wasn’t happening, so I finally decided to set time aside to join Petrea at her Virtual Art Circle today. And I’m so glad I did.
Petrea started with a singing-bowl meditation which was so grounding and peace-filled.
There’s nothing like a mid-day Creation Break to refuel your entire mind, body & spirit.
And Creation Breaks are limitless in what they can be. For me, today it was to draw. But creating comes in so many forms:
and the list goes on and on and on……….
But the key point is to take the time for a Creation Break. If you don’t commit to doing it, it won’t get done just like anything else.
Making a commitment to yourself to doing what lights you up is a key foundational piece to dissolving anxiety and stress.
I feel so peaceful right now after drawing. And I have so much I need to get done by day’s end for my business, but I knew I’d be fueled and pumped even more if I took a Creation Break first.
And I totally am.
I am going to accomplish what I need to get done now with ease and flow.
And I’m really psyched about it!
Creation Breaks are one type of practice that you can bring into your day or week (or month at Petrea’s Virtual Art Circle) to create more space in your life, more peace and less anxiety.
